Bayswater is an area of west London in the City of Westminster. Bayswater is one of London's most cosmopolitan areas and has one of London's highest concentration of hotels. It is also home to the famous Whiteleys shopping centre and Hyde Park, one of London?s finest historic landscapes. The park covers 142 hectares (350 acres) and provides something for everyone. With over 4, 000 trees, a lake, a meadow, and more, its easy to forget you?re in the middle of London. Hyde Park offers a range of leisure activities from informal games of frisbee through to boating on The Serpentine and horse riding. In the summer there are Sunday afternoon concerts at the bandstand and open air music concerts are also regularly held here. On Sunday around late morning time, Speaker's Corner, at the north-east corner near Marble Arch, is a corner of London where anyone can speak his mind on any topic.
