Starting at the below £50 price bracket there are not many properties that can be reliably described as a hotel. However all the below, except The Generator which is a hostel, are hotels. What they all have in common is great value for money, take the Lords Hotel starting from £48 for a single Friday to Sunday or The County in central London starting from £42 for a single! Please make sure you take note of which ones have shared facilities so you know what you’re buying, but other than that we are sure that for the price you pay you will not be disappointed, so get booking!
Moving onto the £50 - £60 price band you can guarantee that all the properties we have chosen are hotels and not B&B's. Not only that, but most benefit from en-suite facilities. Again you will find that they are great value for money, for example take a look at the Express by Holiday Inn Croydon which is a good quality 3 star property only 20 mins from central London by train! Otherwise the Alexandra and Huttons boast excellent central locations.
Moving up to the £60 - £70 bracket you will find there are a greater number of London hotels available. We have brought you a selection of those we recommend at this budget and they may not be all glitz and glam, but more importantly they are in easy access of central London, well presented and under £70! The Holiday Inn Express Royal Docks, Holiday Inn Express Limehouse and Holiday Inn Express Park Royal are all of a good 3 star quality. The President, Tavistock and Royal National all enjoy a prominent central London location which means you can pretty much walk to a fair amount of London attractions. If you want something a little different try the Brunel or Central Park. Happy booking!
